Privacy & terms
InkToLog is a trade name of Corewright Labs LLC, Georgia, USA. Contact: [email protected]. Last updated 24 October 2026.
InkToLog is offered two ways: a conversion service, where you upload page photos and we send back files, and a connector for AI assistants, where you work in your own assistant conversation. Their data handling differs, so each has its own section.
Conversion service (photo upload)
What we collect
- Your email address and the logbook page images you upload.
- Logbook pages can contain names, certificate numbers, and signatures. You may cover certificate numbers before photographing; it won't affect the conversion.
- Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
How we use it
- Only to produce and deliver your conversion files and answer questions about them.
- Images are shared with the service providers we use to process, produce, and deliver your order, for that purpose only. They are not used to train models.
- We don't sell or share your information, and we don't send marketing email unless you opt in.
Retention
Page images and output files are deleted 30 days after delivery. Your email and order record are kept for 12 months for support. Email [email protected] to have everything deleted sooner.
InkToLog connector
What the connector receives
- Page data in tool calls. When your AI assistant uses an InkToLog tool, it sends the transcribed page data: page numbers, dates, aircraft type and registration, airports, flight times, landings, totals rows, remarks, and notes on cells that were hard to read. The connector never receives your photos, your conversation, or anything else from your assistant account. Your photos and conversation are handled by your assistant's provider under its own terms.
- Sign-in. When you connect, you sign in with Google. We receive your Google account ID and email address.
- Payment. If you buy the 31-day pass, you pay on Stripe's checkout page. We receive your Stripe customer identifier and the payment status, never your card number.
What we store, and for how long
- Page data: not stored. It is processed in memory to produce the reconciliation report or import file, returned to your assistant, and discarded. We don't log it.
- Account record: Google account ID, email address, plan, and Stripe identifiers. Kept while your account exists. On a deletion request we delete the account and its usage counts and revoke all connections, within 30 days.
- Usage counts: for each page you process, a keyed one-way fingerprint of the page number, line count, and each line's date and aircraft registration, so a page counts once per month. The fingerprint is computed with a secret key held only by the service, so it can't be turned back into logbook content. Kept for the current and previous calendar month, then deleted automatically.
- Sign-in tokens: stored in hashed form; access tokens expire after one hour, and a connection expires after 60 days without use (one year at most). Removing the connector from your assistant ends access.
- Operational logs: our hosting provider records request metadata (time, path, status, errors) for a short period (up to 7 days) to keep the service running. These logs don't contain page data.
Who else processes data
Service providers that host the connector, handle sign-in, and process payments, each only for that function. We don't sell or share your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Your choices
- Leave instructor certificate numbers, signatures, and endorsement text out of transcriptions. The tools have no field for them.
- To delete your account, email [email protected] from the address you signed in with.
Terms
- Conversion service: price is $2.50 per page submitted, $80 minimum. The 2-page sample is free. If a delivered file won't import into ForeFlight, we'll fix it or refund you.
- Connector: free up to 10 pages per month. The 31-day pass is a one-time $19 payment through Stripe; it doesn't renew, so there's nothing to cancel.
- We transcribe and reconcile your records; we don't certify them. You're responsible for reviewing flagged items and for the accuracy of your logbook. Keep your paper original.
